American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Global Health Committee seeks to increase awareness, education, and activism of global health issues including worldwide disease and medicine development, healthcare disparities, and pertinent social justice topics. Being a sect of a larger pre-health organization, AMSA Global Health wants to promote an open environment for global engagement and cultural development, which they believe to be invaluable to understanding health on a broader scale.
